I don’t know how to explain this without sounding pushy but my trusty mentor, Alex (Jeffreys), can change your life. Truly. He changed mine, and so many others. I don’t know where I’d be without his help.
He teaches newbies how to build and run a real business online without having to know all the techie stuff. He’s genuine, nurturing and caring – and loved by so many. I still belong to his community (forum) where everyone helps & promotes one another and joint ventures are formed.
I’m doing what I love and finally earning money from my online pursuits. If you’ve got a few minutes please watch his video, where he’ll explain what he can do for you. And he’s not going to charge you big bucks either.
Are you an online entrepreneur or an opportunity seeker? Most newcomers (newbies) to internet marketing are bombarded with promises that making money online is easy if they buy “this program” or “that course”, but when it doesn’t happen, they move onto the next thing… and the next.
Sooner or later they end up with a hole in their pocket and nothing to show for it. Does that sound familiar? It happens to most of us. We become what are referred to as “Opportunity Seekers”. The marketers making the big money are the internet-savvy Entrepreneurs.
Opportunity seeking can become an addiction that is difficult to cure. One of the main causes of the “habit” is the lack of direction or goals. There is no magic bullet to making money online.
Do you have some simple tasks piling up that you thought were too small to outsource? Then you really should check out a site called Fiverr.
It’s still in beta test mode but is already capturing the imagination of all manner of people. Registered members can buy or sell 5 dollar services.
“Fiverr” has a “Twitter” feel about it with incoming short posts in real time. Services are called “Gigs” and all cost just $5.00. Some Gigs are crazy and imaginative but there are many that we internet marketers and bloggers can use.
Just a few of the useful online services people will do for a fiver:
Never Give UpJust read a very inspiring post by Jeff Walker, the “Profit Launch Formula” creator. I love that guy. He has a wonderful gift of telling a good story with a deep and meaningful philosophy beneath it. Ooh Ahh!
This particular story was about Jeff participating in a cycling race with his son. I won’t spoil it for you so I’ll put the link at the end. It was a powerful true story of courage, perseverance and never giving up. It was also about encouragement from others who believe in you. I recommend you read it.
I was so moved by Jeff’s story because it rang lots of bells for me. I am one who never gives up. When I first decided to start an online business it was my dream to start a social network for aspiring actors but I had no clue how.
In these two short videos, Anthony Robbins speaks on moving forward with focus, drive and conviction to achieve your goals. If you have decided to succeed in your online business, make sure that there are no inner conflicts holding you back.
What Goes Around, Comes AroundOnce upon a time, there lived a little cockney girl, in the heart of London. Although she was from a very poor family, she was taught to be kind and generous to others and especially to respect the elderly.
One day, as she was skipping along the busy street with a few pennies jingling in her pocket, she happened upon a very frail little old lady, standing on the street corner. She took the lady by the hand and helped her to safely cross the street.
With a big, wrinkly smile, the lady thanked her warmly and the little girl’s heart went out to her. She reached into her jacket and offered her pocket money to the old lady. “Oh no dear” she said, “you keep it”. But the little girl dropped the coins into the old lady’s coat pocket and skipped along on her way.
Here are 10 tips for internet business newbies that may prevent you from falling in a heap. Review them on a regular basis and try to stay focused on planning ahead.
One advantage of creating and building an online income is that your business is “open all hours” so you work when and for as long as you want. Some regular tasks can be run on auto-pilot, offering a less stressful working environment and giving you more time to spend with family and doing the good things in life. However, when first starting your business, it may take many months or more to get to that stage. The earlier days of the learing curve can be quite long and tiring. In order to be successful, try to maintain a positive attitude and be persistent and committed. Beware of ‘Get-Rich-Quick’ schemes which will eat into your wallet and often show little results.
Write Down Your GoalsBefore setting up an online business, you need to ask yourself what you are aiming for. The obvious answer is to make money online, but apart from that you should have a sense of direction – a plan. The money is the result of good planning and effective marketing.
The bottom line is that it’s not really about money, it’s about freedom and lifestyle. If you set your business up the right way, it can get to the point where it’s working FOR you 24/7. But that won’t happen overnight.
If you fail to plan you are ultimately planning to fail. You must take a few moments to sit down and write down your goals. Most people don’t do this, so their focus becomes just in chasing the money. Perhaps it’s an overseas trip or a house on the beachfront or simply giving up your job. Write them down and then visualize them, putting yourself in the picture. Believe that you can achieve them. Never lose sight of your goals and never give up. Write a pledge to yourself that you will take ACTION. Most people fail because they don’t take action!
If you are relatively new to internet marketing, you’ll see a ton of sales pages blasting out hype and promises about easy ways to make money online.
As most of us soon find out, there is no “overnight success” story on the internet. What these sales pages and videos fail to tell you is that simply buying the product or software or program is not, in itself, going to make you successful on the internet. There is more to it than that.
Running an online business is not unlike having a business in the street. However it’s far, far cheaper to set up & operate and of course you don’t have to be there to make sales.
Well Hello! Allow me to introduce myself. I am Gail Fay from the hinterland of Byron Bay, the easternmost point of Australia, and I’m a perpetual student (as we all are) of Internet Marketing. My sincere thanks go to my numero uno mentor and buddy, the amazing Alex Jeffreys, from the other side of the world in downtown Cardiff, Wales, UK.
Alex has taught me SO much and on this blog I am going to share his teachings with you. But first, let me tell you a story that might make your toes curl!
In 2007, I made the decision to start an online business, but soon found out that I was pretty clueless. It was like being adrift alone on a raft in the middle of the ocean – with no oars, no sail, nobody. I’m sure you can relate to that.
