(This lady is very angry with telemarketers!)

A press release about an internet marketer being sued for racketeering, money laundering and fraud has created a bit of a buzz online recently.

In particular, a site called http://saltydroid.info/ has published an article which has been receiving a lot of attention and comments.

The “Salty Droid” is on a mission to clean up the internet of Sharketers (shady marketers) and has a reputation of shooting from the hip, no holds barred.

His latest post has prompted discussion about unsolicited sales calls from Call Centers, hired by the big boys. The idea is to upsell buyers of low cost products or newsletter subscribers to personal coaching programs.

Just read a very inspiring post by Jeff Walker, the “Profit Launch Formula” creator. I love that guy. He has a wonderful gift of telling a good story with a deep and meaningful philosophy beneath it. Ooh Ahh!

This particular story was about Jeff participating in a cycling race with his son. I won’t spoil it for you so I’ll put the link at the end. It was a powerful true story of courage, perseverance and never giving up. It was also about encouragement from others who believe in you. I recommend you read it.

I was so moved by Jeff’s story because it rang lots of bells for me. I am one who never gives up. When I first decided to start an online business it was my dream to start a social network for aspiring actors but I had no clue how.

Beware of Sharketers!

Well Hello! Allow me to introduce myself. I am Gail Fay from the hinterland of Byron Bay, the easternmost point of Australia, and I’m a perpetual student (as we all are) of Internet Marketing. My sincere thanks go to my numero uno mentor and buddy, the amazing Alex Jeffreys, from the other side of the world in downtown Cardiff, Wales, UK.

Alex has taught me SO much and on this blog I am going to share his teachings with you. But first, let me tell you a story that might make your toes curl!

In 2007, I made the decision to start an online business, but soon found out that I was pretty clueless. It was like being adrift alone on a raft in the middle of the ocean – with no oars, no sail, nobody. I’m sure you can relate to that.
